Title: anyone else tried iron-man? should your save get deleted when you die?

hey all,

testing iron-man mode and found that when i died i was able to then just reload the same game (iron-man save) and try again from the last save (last time i quit out to menu in that game)....

i would have expected playing on this mode would delete my save on death? is that not the intended functionality?
