Hi all,

i got the game yesterday, and i have to say... wow how complex. i needed my time to find out how it works, without creating chaos in the galaxy

After hours in my new game (3 cultures are in a federation now), i am wondering, why there is no "federation council".
I think this would be a great additional feature to guide the federation and the diplomacy at all.

Decisions like "overall trade embargo"; "concept of the enemy"; "give back conquered planets to original owner"; "common research pact for 2 years as science boost for all federation members"; ....
All federations will meet somewhen in time to decide something. I think this should be part of the game too.
Maybe this will bring more difficulties too.. if the federation doesn't want to do what the player wants and decides in a different way I think this could lead to a additional deep of the game.

I am not sure: if there is a chance to get more features in the future... Are there any plans?

Do you want to think about it as a second addon maybe?

The devs did say they might do another dlc for TLF(the last federation) and that federation council does sound neat, I would recommend you post this idea on mantis (the idea tracker whose link can be found in the main page) when they are finished making Stars beyond Reach, because if you post it now it might get lost amongst a sea of other reports .

this is a pretty sexy idea you should totally suggest this on mantis  and yes there even outside of dlcs arcen(when there not busy like they are right now) are always tweaking with this game.
