How does science research work?
« on: September 29, 2014, 09:25:01 am »
As I gain various points in science  (through techs and stations) I would think that the research times would go down for techs.  I am not seeing this.  Are the numbers so small that it isn't really worth going for?

You know... there may be an oversight there with the personal science research.  I will have to check.  It definitely increases the effectiveness of your goons, but if you don't have science goons it might not!

Quickly building a few Science Stations and going back to compare the research times with the Skylaxians did decrease the time.  It may be that some of the early techs don't decrease it much and that is what I was seeing.

Ah, okay.  Well, the more goons that you have, the more pronounced the effect will be, too.  If you run into something where you think it's an issue, please do let me know!
