Hydra Tech Should Increase Base Stats

The way auto-resolve buffs stats for auto-resolve, I was thinking that it would be good to use a similar system for progressing your ship.  This would give a nice sense of progression.  Late game your ship is not that effective, and I agree that it should stay this way, but having another method to increase your power instead of just increasing your options would be nice.

I second this, you should create a mantis about it =)

It would make sense that you don't need "non hydral" tech to upgrade your ship, but those should maybe be tone down a bit...
