Hey guys,
So I'm finally looking at releasing the DRM-free version of the game. I need to make sure that this unpacks okay onto linux and OSX, though, and that the updater works for folks. It would save me some time to have some other folks test that rather than me having to run through all the tests myself (that is what has been holding me up so long so far).
Basically all I'd need you to do is:
1. Download a zip file.
2. Unzip the zip file and see if the game runs.
3. Run the automatic updater from within the zip file and see if that works.
4. Make sure that the version number actually goes up after updating, heh.
Please email me at chrispark7 at gmail if you've got the game on steam and are a user on those platforms. I'll obviously have tested it on windows prior to handing it to you anyway, but an extra windows person or two wouldn't hurt.
Just to keep myself from getting flooded with too many offers, if you can note in the thread here when you've emailed me just so people don't keep sending in offers if I already have like 3-4 people.
I want to test it on a few different machines and ideally distros, though, so please post what you're running (just distro and 32/64 bit), if you will.
