Save file error

I played a game this morning. Was on second floor, had to go. I was in a shop, I exited to menu (where it had the continue button available) then exited the game. Came back tonight, and now I'm getting this error:



I'd really like to be able to finish that run, any ideas anyone? I already tried to validate files in steam but it seemed everything is fine there.

Don't worry, your run is safe. An update was released today with a missing entity, temporarily making existing saves unable to load. Once they re-add the missing entity, we'll get the access to our saves back. Until then, we'll have to mess around with a fresh save or simply wait it out.

But again, don't worry, you're not the only one and there's nothing wrong on your end.

Yeah, sorry about this. One of the entities was actually removed when it shouldn't have been. Either myself or Ptarth probably caused this. Sorry about that! I expect that a patch will be pushed as soon as possible. Probably within 24 hours I'd say. This will fix all savegames with this error. Sorry for the inconvenience!
