Mantised this yesterday.  No screenshot available, but the Mantis post says it all pretty well.

Yeah, I'm not actually sure what we can do about this. If you take Jaywalker then those drops become accessible at least. So that's kind of a feature.........kind of! We can prevent certain enemies from dropping items, I think, but not certain enemies in certain locations......although, I suppose we could actually create a new category for all enemies placed in locations like this. Sniper_NoDrops or something, and then create a different version of the sniper enemy that doesn't drop anything. Something like that. Thoughts, Misery, Ptarth?

In some cases this just isn't going to be avoidable.

Other games typically solve this by having tiles the player cant even access like pits and such, enemies simply not dropping items if they're over a pit.   We don't really have anything like that though.

Honestly though as long as it's not a major item or consumable, the sorts of things that appear on a pedestal, then it's fine, really.   Annoying, but fine.

Does it really count as inaccessible if a jaywalker can get it? Unlike those health shards completely enclosed in walls. Now those I really hate.

If you're spotting rooms with inaccessible health shards, hit F3 and mark down the room's file name and path and send it to me, so I can fix them up.

In all the runs I've played, I've never seen "Jaywalker".  Is that something that's recently been added?

Nah, Jaywalker's been in for a while, I'm pretty sure.

Yeah it's one of the original items.

Opened your save. My computer wept. Switched to the ST planet and ship icons filled my screen, so I zoomed out. Game told me that it _was_ totally zoomed out. You could seriously walk from one end of the inner grav well to the other without getting your feet cold.

??? I've never once encountered it.  Is it a level-up perk, or is it a module or some other sort of thing I'd find in a level?
