Title: Is there a way to hide the minimap?

A minimap this size really is a tad hindering in clearing a room :):

Settings -> Extras -> Limit minimap display

yes actually in extras there's an option which limits your mini map to just what you can directly go into from the room your in I always use it in later floors. (and especially in boss battles)
