oh really? I wasn't aware of that. well, I got a few perfect runs but I didn't use missiles on every boss so I'm not sure. I'll keep an eye on it.
so both consumables and missiles won't work for perfect runs. Is there anything else that prevents you from getting them?

The reason missiles prevent "Perfect!" is because they can destroy shots.
(Drones and guns that do the same thing don't count, so you're free to use those all you want!)
