[Bug] Purple window (win7)
« on: November 16, 2016, 02:10:16 pm »
Hi, I've bought the game a few min ago but when I try to start it I get a complete purple screen and sound.

What I've tried so far:
- start in window mode
- compability to win xp
- run as admin
- run at resolution 640x480

System:
Win 7 64bit
Amd A10-7850K APU
16GB Ram
Amd Radeon R7 250X

That's really strange.
I'm going to ask for the usual things.
Reboot, Verify, reinstall.

You might have gotten your settings corrupted. In that case, delete settings.bak and settings.dat and try to run it.
Try running the executable directly:
..\Starward Rogue\StarwardRogue.exe

Can you also give me the log files?
They are in ...\Starward Rogue\RuntimeData
Files are ArcenDebugLog.txt, DrawGameErrors.txt, ErrorsReportedByEngine.txt, and anything else with .txt or .log in it.

Thanks, I did the first three without any change but deleting the settings fixed the issue.
