Eh, oh well.  Still going to use it; we're not going to be causing market confusion or deprive them of even one sale or add to our own sales because we use it.

Opened your save. My computer wept. Switched to the ST planet and ship icons filled my screen, so I zoomed out. Game told me that it _was_ totally zoomed out. You could seriously walk from one end of the inner grav well to the other without getting your feet cold.

The current batch of stuff that Keith is working on that makes it so that you can select specific leaders to play as, and that makes each leader and each race truly unique now from a player standpoint, is one thing that will definitely be interesting to test even without the diplomacy stuff.  But until you can really see that stuff, that's no good yet, heh. :)

Bacon isn't everything, though Chris is talking about something I specifically asked for before the break :D

FYI, Brawlhalla is the name of a game :) http://store.steampowered.com/app/291550/
First I've heard of it. Oh well, -1 originality point for me.

Oh nice, been waiting on this for a long time. Almost time to find out what these people we've been playing are actually good at.

I thought this was about leader selection, not choosing which races are in the game?

I read it as a break out for starting options, which should also decouple difficulties from races.

Nope and nope.

The difficulty levels are not tied to race anyhow; that's a separate thing.  The difficulties listed by each race are rather kind of a rough guide as to which ones are easier or harder to play based on their bonuses, etc.

Eh?  Anytime I grabbed a "Hard" race I always got jumped on at around turn 80.  Not so much with a "Normal" race.

Pure luck, heh.

Although, depending on the hard race, it might be a matter of the fact that your military is weak and so somebody decides to be opportunistic about it.  But the AI and rules and whatnot are the same in both cases.  You're just playing as a weaker race, so that makes it harder and makes the other races sometimes treat you differently.

Consistently bad luck.

okay 1st of all that sounds pretty dope hopefully it'll come with those toltips that Keith's working 2nd of all shame to hear that diplomacy system is being scrapped but that's fine if it was as small in the resource to result margin and this sounds pretty sweet as well 3 just out of curiously is the whole getting other leaders/races to do persifick things for you still going to be a thing or is that getting cut out entirely?.
