7 hours in one day. I think I caught up.

My main feeling is: I don't feel in control. Crime and disease seems to come from nowhere. I think the fact is that I still didn't manage to build a safe/clean city, however I tried really hard.

In my last city I finally got no crime, even when the city was at the edge of destruction. But still diseases despite having the infection center. Maybe i need more than one?

I haven't had a problem with crime so far its been pollution that's been doing my nut in having to constantly build stupid haze mats constantly and then losing my last evuk game after getting 5000 extra pollution from out of fraking no were.

Yap. Seems like a redshirt impalement point. I hope Chris will do something to polish this before blueshirts get in.

If I recall, Chris said that there's actually wind involved:  Your pollution will always blow to the east, so try to keep your, uh, pollution centers far off in that direction.  Though it was also mentioned that pollution from nearby civs (particularly the Acutians, because they do that) can flow towards you as well.

I dont know how far this all can travel, but keeping it in mind might help.

Pollution will eventually travel across the entire map. However, it is scrubbed by regular terrain tiles (amount unlisted). Its only the worst of the pollution swarms that will do that.

thing is I had 1000 pollution which I had under control and I had no smog coming in from anybody and I had my industrial section covered with hazmats I have in incialing that it may have been because of the disease I got with although I'm not sure weather it was after the pollution nuke or before Ill have to check that save game again to find out.(also I genuinely didn't know that smog travelled in a particular direction I thought it spread out in all directions from the smog maker thanks for that tip)
