Hey, I've got all of your games so far and really enjoying them. My fav's are Last Federation, which I'm currently playing, Valley 2, Tidalis. I'd really like to test Stars Beyond Reach.
Looks very promising and I like the overall style of the game.

Cheers Michael

I'm pretty excited about this.  I'd love to test the next Arcen title if there are still spots available.  Thanks!

I am probably the first person to use this thread to opt out of the beta after getting in. Something has come up that will keep me from investing any meaningful time into the game for the weeks/months to come. Sucks, because I am really excited for SBR, but it can't be helped  :( Sorry for the inconvenience and good luck with your further testing and the release.

I was just wondering, as someone who has been officially added, by what means we will be notified that our "wave" is about to start.  I was checking the forums (fora?) every few days to see if any big announcement had come up, but then I got distracted, and life got busy and all - and I'm not sure if I'm missing my chance by not checking every couple of days, or if a message will show up in an inbox somewhere.  Will we all get PMs, so we can all just relax until the fateful message comes?  I'm sure we'd all love to know!

Thanks, and I hope the orangeshirts are all doing their blood-stained jobs!   >D

Nope, Chris usually replies to this thread in batches.

You'll get a PM with a Steam key in it, and the forum should email you when that happens (although it's worth checking back in case the email gets caught in a spamtrap or the forum mysteriously forgets to send it).

And yes, we're doing our jobs. It's dangerous work, but my girlfriend is standing by with lifesaving cups of tea in case the worst happens...

Hey Chris,

I'd love to be a part of the beta if you want more testing done. I've been following Stars for a while and am super interested.
I was madly addicted to Skyward Collapse  while back and produced a few bug reports there and still frequent the steam forum for it xD

Keep up the awesome work!
P.S - I'm kind of hooked on ArcenGames's... attitude? to making/supporting games. When I posted a bug for Skyward, you replied like within
an hour and there was a steam patch like 30 minutes later. It just blew me away. So I always want to help you out with whatever I can.

Thank you very much for the kind words, and also for the interest -- I have you added to the beta list!  You definitely aren't too late (nor is anybody in this).

Noting to everyone in this reply, I've been really slow on replies because I kind of had to shut down on forum focus for a bit to really concentrate on some aspects of updating the game.  I'm really feeling the time pressure at this point, and am trying to balance things the best I can, but balls are going to drop for sure, and my main priority is to make sure it's not in the game quality if at all possible!  Thank you for being understanding about my abnormally slow response times.

I hope I'm not too late to the party too. :(

I've never beta tested a arcen game, but I've seen a lot of development news about this game in particular and I'm so interested on the new take on the genre. I played AI war and The last federation, and more than everything else, I've been very intrigued by the way you take a genre and manage to twist and shout it :D

Hope I can be of help ;)

Thank you!  I've got you added as well. :)

I'd like to be a part of beta test. I have played TLF and like the race setting very much. Look forward to this new release~

Thank you for your support!  I have you added as well.

I'm pretty excited about this.  I'd love to test the next Arcen title if there are still spots available.  Thanks!

Welcome back!  I haven't seen you around in a while, although you might have been in parts of the forums I've been out of.  Added you to the list!

Absolutely no problem whatsoever, and I have to say I really appreciate your being upfront about it rather than just getting into the beta and not really participating.  That's an awesome display of character in my book.  We'll be doing some level of beta testing up until the first week of July or so, so if time does open up for you and you want to get back in, don't feel awkward about it.  There will be a spot for you!  And also don't take that as any kind of pressure from my end to try to make time -- we'll have plenty of testers, though more are always welcome.

Anyway, do what you need to do, and I hope that all is well with this new busyness.

I'd like to beta test, preferably as a blueshirt.

Blueshirt it is!  I expect to send out the invites for that later today. :)

No worries!  I send out a PM to everyone that is in a given wave, with a steam key for them.  If you're worried about missing it, then Fridays and Tuesdays are the best days to check.  I'll usually start a new batch either late in the day EST on Friday or Monday.  About 4:30 pm EST today will be the start of the blueshirts.

I helped test The Last Federation and provided mantis feedback, would like to be in the beta test.

Recently bought the Last Federation on a steam sale and I love it.  I'd like to be a part of the beta for Stars Beyond Reach.
