Also now added to the yellowshirts: Razer98K

I had added him in another thread, but somehow mis-marked him on the spreadsheet, and so missed actually adding him to the game.  I'm really glad that he spoke up and let me know, and it's not a bother to me for anyone who does that.  Please do so!  If I miss anybody, it's always an oversight and not something intentional -- there's just a lot of people and a lot of data! :)

In that case I'll give a gentle poke just to be sure - we spoke about Linux testing in another thread, which I'm still happy to do (alongside Huw, hi there ;P). No urgency on my part though, pick whichever wave you like ;)

Hullo!

Yes, we could do with more Linux testers; I need to see whether others experience my problem with the 64-bit client.

I'm another one when I get in. I have a Xubuntu dualboot system on my gaming PC. My Arch laptop is too weak to run anything remotely modern...

Both of mine are Arch - and you'd be surprised what will run on an onboard Intel these days... :)

That might be, but even AI War gets my fan into overdrive, so yeah... It's a first generation (I think, bought it 2010) i3 processor after all. And just today a twitch stream via flash player made it overheat and shut down on me  >:(

You should get a laptop cooling station for it. Overheating is never a good thing.

Well, it wasn't an issue so far. It seems to me like it's more a flashplayer problem than anything else, as it never happened before and there's not much heat buildup when viewing HTML5 video or normal video files...

Anyway, I think we're derailing this thread quite heavily even if it's not used anymore. Maybe a proper thread (either in offtopic or in the beta discussion) concerning Linux would be better.
