Wait, pollution was why my science labs were always hotbeds of crime?  Weird, did not realize there was a pollution -> crime interaction.  Is that mentioned in a tooltip for the buildings that have it?

Just a thought I had with regard to the now cancelled racial themed HUDs: How about only changing the console at the bottom of the screen and maybe add a styled frame to the new leader portrait? Might be a good compromise between effort and flavor?

Super duper rarely.  For the most part you'd probably set them up once and leave them, but then later if you accomplished your goal and want to do something else, then you change them again.  Why do you ask?

I'm not really sure and not really equipped to contemplate a polish thing of that nature this week or next week.  It definitely has its merits, that's for sure.  I think you will really like what is coming in terms of talking to the other races with the revised diplomacy and such, given your suggestions, though.  After all that stuff shakes out, then we can circle back on things like this.
