I didn't think power even needed working on I guess Chris thought though so.

That's what concerns me about many suggestions. People have different perspectives based on where and how much of the game they are familiar with. Too many ideas are focusing on a limited area and not taking into account the rest of the game (both earlier and later phases). I know that I discount much of the early game, because I don't dwell there long and I'm up trying to get 50k people organized. Whereas others are sticking with 2-5k people and think that that is already too many.

Gave up on 100k?  50K should be a cake walk.

And I do remember telling Chris about the power techs needing to be changed a bit.  It was in some of my feedback that I gave.  I'm playing though now to see how it feels.

It needed it.  All the advanced power options came at the same time on the tech tree.  You sat with solar/wind then bam, options that only lead you to use nuclear power.

Have you noticed if there is any reason not replace all small solars with the larger solars? Looking at them last game I didn't see any benefit for having small solars at all (ignoring cost).

I haven't. I just ran out of places to build in the last game. Literally. Freeing up more districts will help with that. I also am going through and bulldozing 95% of my shrines and replacing them with shrine/park rings. Oh and fix my power draw problems. That should make it a cakewalk to 100k. Unless building crime is still going to be bad. At 800 buildings it was troublesome.

Crime can start to be troublesome at 400 if you don't have all the crime fighting boost available from the tree/ social progress.  I found that out this morning.

I just started with a new game but last game I kept my smalls.  Smalls are great because they are fast to build, so if you know you are going to brown out you can drop them and boost power quickly.

Here is my last game btw.

Thanks for the save. I like collecting and seeing what other people are doing.

I'm going to get 100k to try to convince Chris that building density crime is still dodgy.

Build military commands and military buildings with a high building count.  It's crime you can't do anything with.

Finally got a chance to look at your save Cinth. That's a beautiful city.

My Evuck city is broken. My buildings won't build so I'm going to have to start over.

Also, I love the Savannah tile.

Thanks.  I like esthetically pleasing visuals where I can get them ;)  You can see when my previous city would have been had it went 600 turns.

I've seen the various incarnations on Mantis.  Poor Evucks.  I'm sure tomorrows update (fingers crossed) will fix what's broken.

Agreed.  Probably the best looking tile in the game.

Your linguistic fix, fixed it. Back to trying to make 100k before anyone else.
My bad on the lack of naming an error report. I tried to fix it but I couldn't do anything with the files.

After looking and loading some other saves, apparently those error messages are flooding everything. Not sure if that is intended or not.

There's a market item error that's real and hitting the peltians in my games.  It's been reported.

Just say you did down in the notes.  That way everyone knows that the report and save won't line up.

Not going to run the debugging unless I have a reproducible bug that I can generate logs for.  Not really sure how helpful they are.  And having red text streaming down the left side looks horrible.

It also logs it to file, which is much, much more readable.

I generated a 5 turn run for that mantis report.  I think that was more than sufficient.
