That number next to your crown balance...

Ya know that green and purple icon on the lowest bar next to your crown balance?  What is that?

Oh, I'm sure I am going mad. ;)  I am also sure I'm not going mad about this. :P
I'll get a screenshot of it later tonight when I'm at home (and have the game in front of me), but it's a green (perhaps yellow-green) shape with what looks like a purple V over top of it.  It highlights when you mouse over it, but no tooltip displays, and it won't respond to mouse clicks.  Whatever color it is, it's immediately to the right of the crown balance/income readout on the bottom-most bar up top.

okay I think I know what you mean(I have no idea were you got the purple bit from though so I think you are going a tiny bit mad here) that's the icon you click on to view how close you are to dominating the other races slash getting an exotic victory condition.
