My computer didn't lock up when it tried to end turn, but it wouldn't do anything else (even allow me to force close the application). I'd say post it.

I'll link this to Keith, we'll see what's up.  No mantis required in this case since I happened to see it.  Thanks!

Thanks for your patience with this.  It's some sort of infinite loop when the Skylaxians try to place a bunch of tiles at once.  I don't know what's up, and Keith is in the middle of some performance hunting that is related, so it may be tomorrow or the next day before we get this properly sorted.

fair enough dam skylaxians with their mental disorders which prevent them from actually manning their solar lasers and prevents them from understanding the basic concept of not shooting each other  ;)

In the process of fixing the slow interturn issues, Keith also fixed this. :)

The turns in this particular game still take about 4 seconds to process, which is annoying, but it's vastly better than it was before for sure!  More optimizations to come later.

enougher crashing bug I think I've encountered tried going into my felyn game last night and it just straight up crashed......which in turn after a convoluted series of events molested my laptop and made it unusable for the rest of the night open the save at your own risk!!!.(but hey at least I didn't stay up for ages for once) edit just tried the game again in non full screen(because I figured If the game crashed this would stop it crashing my computer) and...its working fine?!.....(computers are freaking weird)

Hmmmm... I would suggest playing in windowed mode if it's causing you those sort of issues.  What sort of specs do you have?  Can you upload your error logs from the RuntimeData folder, please?  If you can't repro the error with this save, then maybe the error logs will shed some light.

Thanks!

Actually, a question for you: in the settings, in the extras tab, do you have those two Debug: Show MS Taken things turned on?  If so, that may be your problem right there -- they aren't meant to be used during regular gameplay for long durations.
