You can extend further by leap frogging with helipad and air cargo bays. Although, I still think you should be able to drop civic centers anywhere in los.

Yeah, I know, but the range being what it is it still just feels like extending the boundaries.

I agree with the drop them anywhere in los idea.  It'd just make alot more sense.

I completely agree that the range for the leap frogging should probably be increased.

With the first II changes I was motivated in the early game. Now that they've been toned down, I feel less motivated. I was also completely unprepared to deal with them, so I guess that's not bad. I'm not sure why, but in my latest game my growth was much slower than I recall it being.

I'm going to be off on a business trip possibly sans time and internet for the net week. So my silence isn't going to be from Chris disappearing me. (hopefully)

A "business trip", eh? This wouldn't be the kind of business that involves mountainous gentlemen in suits standing silently behind you while you explain to Chris in person that your ideas are the best and trim your fingernails with a very shiny switchblade?

My overactive imagination is informing me that the mountainous gentlemen are Boarines. I think it may be time to get out of bed and give it some coffee.

That doesn't make any sense at all. They would be Burlusts.

I think my next campaign will be the turn order issue. I really think that needs to be rethought (aka, changed to what I think).

Also, business trip, I'm not here.

Burlusts would probably make more sense, but my brain decided that Boarine heads sticking out of the suits would be more intimidating. Also, they're incredibly uncomfortable about being around so many other people. They want everything to stay calm, but at the first hint of conflict they may just lose their composure...

I decided to try to play a proper game for a change instead of just doing random things to test stuff. Went nicely until around turn 170 when I had 2 Anzhousas attacking my city and after realizing that my barracks does basically nothing to one of them and that I'd have to spend who knows how many turn doing pretty much nothing to kill them decided to stop playing.

What about building the other military buildings? What Race, level of technology, and social development did you have?
