Kick players out of the tutorial early?
« on: September 07, 2013, 09:37:27 pm »
I'm not sure if this has already been discussed recently as I've been away doing other things for a while, but if it hasn't been done already has the possibility of cutting off the tutorial early been considered.

I've noticed a lot of criticism of the game tends to reflect the tutorial and I get the impression a lot of people ONLY play the tutorial then stop. The tutorial was horribly easy last time I played and provided no challenge at all.

Do you think it might be better just to kick the player out of the tutorial once most of the instruction is pretty much done?

I haven't been paying attention quite as much recently so for all I know you might have already done this and I just didn't catch the threads/notes. If that's the case then ignore this.

It is not done yet. But doing so might very well be an improvement. Alternatively at least the turn could be reduced to 20 per round...
