Questions of the Gods...

Hey Gang,

Newbie here and am wondering 2 things.

1) Is it safe to assume once Zeus shows up the gods are untouchable?  Does he eventually leave or might there be some clever work around this?

2) While the initial gods appearing seems random, will it always be Zeus and Odin in the final stage or did I just luck out in the tutorial?

1).  Pretty much, yeah.  There are a couple of god abilities that can swap out gods, but I think it's just lesser gods IIRC.  And that ability doesn't come up much, because it's specific to one god.

2). There are 4 greater and lesser gods for each of the factions: so 16 gods in all, between the two factions.  Two of them don't show up until you win your first game and unlock trade.  But all the rest are available at any time, and it's just luck of the draw which ones show up when.

Thanks!  Just want to congratulate you on a darn original/surreal strategy game here.  So the Monster Age will always be minor gods and God Age will be 2 majors?

And yep, always 2 minors in the aom, and 2 majors in the aog.
