"In the beginning...
« on: May 03, 2013, 05:12:29 pm »
...the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

Why else would they all be wanting to kill each other constantly? ;D
I'm mostly doing this to see how entertaining i can make me trying out the game for the first time. All default settings, including the tutorial edict.

~Round Zero~
Whole lot of resources, probably too many. Also added Cerberos guarding Adamantine, because it sounds like an interesting idea.

~Round 1, Turn 4:

Cerberos remains alive (although it looks rather annoyed) as a brawl starts to form around it, while the Greeks argue over their sparse supply of logs and occasionally give up a couple for the military. Perhaps they needed all of the logs to write on or are planning to smack the norse with logs instead of arrows?

~Round 1, Turn 8:

Cerberos, while not exactly dead, has certainly been taking a beating.
But so have the Norse. One of them had the bright idea to try arson on Cerberos, and he was so completely ripped apart I'm not sure theres actually anything left of him besides bloody air and a smudge on Cerberos' mouths. (5000 damage the turn he was created, owch.)

Another group of slightly smarter nordsmen decided to rush the Greek menace and were promptly shot in the face with a log. Or an arrow, the others don't seem to want to get close enough to check but it was wooden and killed them dead.
Greece still needs wood badly, but has quickly expanded over near yonder ruins. An inhabited forest came into existence between the two towns after the log argument was briefly stopped to ask me for a way to the new town that did not involve great mountain climbing skills. They also asked me for more wood, but I pointed them towards the new forest instead if they needed more that much.

~Round 1, Turn 10:
Cerberos has fallen to the norse axe thrower!
The Norse celebrate by clogging the barracks and archery range ::) , and by expanding to a second town. The Greeks on the other hand, are greeted by a trader beari-wait, HOW WERE YOU HOLDING 40 SHEEP?

The Greek trader is unofficially promoted to the title 'Bag of Holding' for having produced 40 sheep and ~10 logs out of several plains tiles and one inhabited forest and 1-3 forest tiles depending on his route. Sheep are apparently lighter than logs by a big margin.

~Round 1, Turn 11:
Bandits have come to steal the adamantium! Or since they were a tad late to the party, just attack everything instead.

Some minor flux later, the world clears back up, with a norse artifact appearing in the mountains.

~Round 1, Turn 10:
Things that are going rather badly for the norse:
1. A Greek snuck past Cerberos on a newly-appeared tile and grabbed the adamantine
2. The bandits are attacking the norse for the most part
3. the bandits had a mortar and it blew up in their woods next to the pigs.

Things that are going badly for the Greeks:
1. Not enough logs
2. Need more bread
