Well, basically, the whole thing about the building mechanic involving the creation of new tiles is new, surprising, and definitely something to be highlighted to the players. It would have been nice to have some visual cues, a bit like the purification indicators in AVWW2, to demarcate the region within which Town Buildings can be placed.

And finally, the most major issue: the sheer number of structures can be pretty overwhelming. It's hard to keep track of how many of each thing each side has.

That is, a sort of strategic overview that tells you what each side has. Also, I don't see the point in having more than one of the processing structures, so maybe you could make duplicates unplaceable in a town. And is there any reason why the smelter is not grouped with the other processing structures?
