I was just shy of 500k on my first playthrough.  Even though it doesn't matter, I'm still winning.

I played with 20 turn rounds and got 197k.

I somehow overloaded my Norse economy so they were actually sending massive waves of units. At the end I had chokepointed my Greek towns and stuck a level 4 guy with adamantine in the way. Massive deaths accrued.

491K with default tutorial settings.  Edit:  Actually 495k after the last round's combat.

First game: 559.9K. Default tutorial setting, started in 0.800 so there some bias from the higher number of units.

Second game, default settings except map is the mountain one. Diplomacy is incredibly overpowered if you can set it up right. 9 enlightened towns by the end gave me an overwhelming amount of points.

For an experiment, I just spammed my way through a game (zooming through the combat) -- still took about 45 minutes, though,  as there are a lot of turns. Scored 505,300. I shouldn't really be able to do that. I set up the basic buildings then just clicked end turn, end turn repeatedly until my population was reduced to about 20ish then just corrected one side's resource problems if it looked like they were dwindling. Very little thought was put into it at all. I think military are too weak, hardly lost any buildings I don't think. Not that I noticed, anyway.
