This time theyre doing a thing with not-steam (I'm uh not actually sure if theyve given any details beyond that.)

At the moment, its not on steam.

Actually, the game is on Steam! :)

That said, we are only giving out Steam keys for those that purchased the game during the beta period. If that's when you bought it, e-mail me at arcengames {at} gmail or PM me with the e-mail address you used to make the purchase, and I'll set you up.

Thanks!

GoG and steam are not mutually exclusive :)

For some reason when it was mentioned you weren't doing steam initially it was implied they were... Or at least I inferred that

Nope, they aren't, but, it's likely that at the time, we wern't confirmed on Steam, and didn't want to give the impression that we might be. :)

When I bought AI war and AVWW, it was possible to download the game via steam (which accepts bank transfers, as I don't have a credit card) and use the key to unloack the stand alone version (using steam only as a distribution platform, since I typically run them on a fedora distro under WINE).
Is it also possible to use the  key the same way with Shattered Haven ?

Nope, there is no license key for this game.

Well I believe the Steam copy does not check to see if Steam is running. You could download it through Steam and then copy the game folder somewhere else.

I feel pretty stupid for not having tried that one :).
And it works without a problem in wine as well !
Thanks Oralordos.
