I'm locked in! Help!

I'm in the snow hill area, and I went through the gate (using a key) to enter "Venetian Slow Pursuit." Upon completing and leaving the level, the gate was closed and now I'm stuck! I don't have another key to get out. Do I have to start over again?

Sorry about that! We'll fix it, but in the meantime a workaround is to do a poison pill and then start from the first area of that overworld. That will put you in the first screen of snow hill.

i tried that. whether i pick last entry or overworld, it puts me in that cage. :\ I understand games may have bugs. I'm really enjoying the game though. pretty genius in my opinion. thanks for the contribution to my library! haha!
