At the rate BadgerBadger is going, you are going to have to add him to the credits as an assistant/volunteer coder or something like that. So far I have seen BadgerBadger code some new map types, though I don't know if they will be in the base game, added the ability to name save games, and now this.

I would agree that this should probably only really be for the flagships and the Ark. It especially makes sense with the Ark because though I don't think even Chris or Keith know whether the regular ships are piloted by less advanced AI or humans, I would expect the Ark to be controlled by humans. At the very least, it probably has you as the commander on board, and if other ships are controlled remotely by humans then probably them also, and I don't see it being controlled by any sort of AI. Speaking of the flagships, have they even been added yet?

Ugh, Gwent is probably the disappointment of the year for me.  A lot of people praise that game, cannot see where this comes from. The game is overall dull and boring.
I didn't say the game was good, haven't tried it myself, I was just letting people know that currently on GOG you can get it for free, and if you do, you also get The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for free, which I figured more people would be interested in.
I knew I'd gotten a copy from someone recently! It just want in my stream library and I was confused. That explained why.
Well, you don't get a steam copy, you get a copy on GOG only.

The autocomplete character is set as a variable in the code, so I can make it anything y'all would prefer. Any recommendation? Maybe I'll let y'all fix Tab with textboxes, then use that?

The fact that tab still does that just means that wherever the tab code is, isn't properly checking to see if there's a textbox highlighted.  That should be easily fixed, although Keith would know where that is better.  It's one for mantis.

Awesome that autocomplete and those other features are working, though!  I would advise against ~ simply because a lot of keyboards don't have that -- German, for instance, lack that at all. And it's in an odd place on a variety of others.

Super cool, at any rate!

Characters like WASD no longer affect typing in text boxes, which is great! It looks like Tab still swaps between planet/galaxy view when typing in text boxes, but I think that's fine.

I have done a bit more to enhance this. I now correctly prevent you from finding planets for which you don't have BasicIntel. Also I've enabled autocomplete for unique prefixes. In the picture I attached, hitting ~ will now automatically finish the planet name "Dunkels" for you, so you don't have to type the whole name in for long planet names.

Sounds neat. :)  I defer to Keith on it.

I'm eying...
Rebel Galaxy
A bit of a tip, last time I checked, which was a day or two ago, on GOG there is a deal where if you purchase anything, no matter how cheap except if it was free, you get Rebel Galaxy too, I got it, though I already beat it on steam.

I knew I'd gotten a copy from someone recently! It just want in my stream library and I was confused. That explained why.

Dead Cells is also on my watch list, but as with most things EARLY ACCESS, my threshold for purchase is a lot lower until it releases.

"The captain is dead" plays a lot like a boardgame version of "FTL".

I've heard of it before, or thought I had, and that description lines up with what I recall.

Here's a potential tweak to that idea that might be easier.

What about at various AIP increase levels, it has a chance to spawn a new structure that gives bonuses to the AI in some capacity; maybe more frequent waves, maybe additional units in the waves. Maybe it can build an exo-galactic gate that will spawn exo waves. Maybe it makes CPAs come faster. Maybe it will constantly spawn units like an AI Dyson Sphere that will seek you out.

You can either face these new dangers or destroy the new structure. So it's basically turning the old Dyson Antagonizer idea into an entire class of terrors,

Also cool is the new Mantis!

I really agree.  Way to go, Quinn! :D
