Perfect, thanks!  Can you post the hardware specs that go with those software numbers?

The BleedingEdgeTest directory is fixed in a hotfix update I just pushed; thanks for catching that. :)

I'll see how much disruption it'll cause updating the mesa and related packages... maybe this weekend.
Updating that machine to the jessie-backports version of mesa etc. did the trick.  :)  AI War 2 starts and appears to run (not got time right this moment to check beyond the galaxy display for  a new game).
