In game cheats
« on: March 01, 2017, 06:11:49 pm »
It occurs to me that for testing purposes, it might be good to enable things like "Here's infinite science". I realize I could do this by modding, but that might introduce some extra variables to debugging any issues found.

Somewhat unrelated. I found a Mark V Shield Starship that I repaired! It looks great. However, I note that it doesn't seem to have a shield associated with it.... Is that deliberate?

It does!  It just takes for-bloody-ever to charge up.  I suspect there's something wacky going on with it - it was recharging at roughly 10/sec for a long time and only got to 10%, then I glanced away, and when I came back it was 100%.

I have 2 already, and there's one on the next planet I'm going ot take over! Neither charged fast when I looked away.  :'(

By the way, there's a solution for the "not enough Science" problem in the thread titled "Modding Difficulties". My AI War 2 currently has a "Give Science" button.

It's a good one to throw on mantis, so we can assign that to Keith or similar.

In terms of the changelogs not going on steam yet, there's not a community page for the game yet, since there's not a store page there yet.
