Speaking for myself, completely meant it as funny rather than as criticism of you.  I think Bob meant it in the same vein (although, yes, stuff like that can make folks twitch involuntarily).

I was playing TF2 a while back and legitimately thought "I just need a cloaker starship to get me past those sentries".
I can already tell this is going to be a roller coaster ride of disappointment.

One heavy could probably take them out. Overpowered class grumble grumble grumble.

Oh yeah, I don't ever set out to upset anyone. I only say things with tongue in cheek. It makes it hard to understand me, which is why I have to type instead. That joke wasn't even good, but did I let that stop me? Never!

Sometimes I find myself using large chains of prepositions. Something like, "Thanks, and thanks for including me in the credits for that entry in the release notes." (source)

I guess this is due to my object oriented programming background, especially when templates and/or generics and/or container types of, etc. come into play.

So things like, "a mapping of lists of ints to sets of pairs of strings and dates" are not only common place, but often considered good data modelling. (an exaggerated case, for sure, but not by much)

I really wish I could just put on an AI disguise, sap the defenders, and backstab the Guard Posts before getting burnt by the Fortress. Or just Dead Ringer my way out via Transport.

Just kidding. TF2 actually gave me worse "did that too much" moments than AIW; by a long shot! "Flame, Airblast, Axtinguisher!" is what I kept thinking whenever I ran into people on the street, back in the hayday of my playing TF2.
