What's the deal with "Unending Galaxy"? (Update: all is well!)

If you look closely at the screenshots you'll notice familiar sprites. I know some of them are from Tyrian and free for all but what about the other ones?

Okay!  Official word from Chris:  The art was something that was made free by him to help out devs like this that need some art to use.

So.... NOT stolen after all!  As he says, totally legit.

So that's one funky issue over with already.

So... dont anyone go hitting these guys with copyright claims or negative messages or anything, alright?

That being said, it is kinda funny to see.

agreed funnily enough there the things which made me suspicious I really didn't recognise anything from  ai war still though looks like it could be pretty solid.

Well, I think that's just what happens when a developer has to download free art of any sort; it's hard to get them to "fit".  Just part of developing indie games sometimes, I guess.

That being said, I have to say, the game itself actually looks kinda interesting.  I might pick this up and see what happens.

Yeah, definitely check that out.  It's got a zillion expansions for a reason   Really good ones, too.  I personally would say to just get those all with it, but that's just me.
