I put down $30 this past weekend and got a bunch of weapons. Grabbed the LMG, MIRV, Bolt Launcher, LAR, thrust pack, and DMB Mines. The Jug weapons are awesome and fun, and the LAR and thrust pack makes playing chaser a way more fun experience. I haven't gotten a chance to play with the Bolt launcher for more than a few minutes, but those few minutes were awesome. Oh, and the DMB Mines are crazy effective.

I now have all the unlockables I want. All of them. All I am doing now is upgrading, and once I finish doing that for the classes I play all my XP is merely "fun money" to spend or amusements sake.

That $30 was totally worth it.

Anyways, It's patch day! This patch adds stuff to the Raider and marks the official release of Custom servers.

I am aware  . I have a huge backlog of games sitting around though, so my money is not as stretched to get games as it once was. I have already logged a ton of time in T:A, and I do feel the developers deserve money for their great game.

No, I wasn't implying that you should, but that you had, and thus you knew how much you could get for $30

But yea, one thing being a really good deal does not remove the value in less-ludicrous deals

Even if you buy the weapons, it doesn't necessarily mean your instantly better than everyone else.  Which is what I assume people mean by "Pay-To-Win".

It doesn't bother me if people play games like this. I'm just pointing out that putting money in to make yourself better than everyone else who's actually putting the work in is called pay to win. I play league of legends, it's no less guilty of that, but I've never put a dime into it. Never will.

No, its that the definition of "winning" is different for me and you.  I guess the problem is, is that I don't view this as a pay-to-win game, just a freemium game with unlocks.  Its probably semantics at this point really.
