Gog has like a dozen bundles up now (and all the games in the bundles are 75% off)

La Mulana and Mutant Mudds are both games I'm really tempted by. Though my temptation can be resisted since neither will run on my computer ;)

The entire (heroes of) might & magic series is in a bundle and discounted too.

I've had to stop myself from going on a buying spree :D I'll never have time to play all the games anyway, so I stopped at TA and MoO.

Having a mac is great if you have poor impulse buying control :D

Humble bundle 7 just got released here: http://www.humblebundle.com

It includes Shank 2, Binding of Isaac, and if you pay more than the average: Dungeon defenders + legends of grimrock.

Indie Game the Movie is on it too, which I enjoyed watching.

If it were me with a mac, I'd be like "well, this computer kinda sucks. It doesn't do what I want it to do." Then I'd go on a PC-part buying spree, then a game buying spree. Double-whammy.

That's certainly another approach to take.

On another note, I'll be able to play Grimrock and Shank 2 soon. Hoorah for the indie bundle ports.

Yeah...
You have a pretty wonderfully positive outlook on the gaming situation though. You're like "Yay! A port came out!" with nary a cry about how long it takes or anything. PCs have better gaming, I guess, but you've certainly learned the art of patience.

Typically if there's something I really want, I grab it on xbox anyways. The idea of actually being able to play games on my computer at all is fairly recent to me to be honest.

Frankly, with all the games on my to-do list, I could probably do with a little less availability =P.

Oh, really?
I mean, for me as well. I've been PC gaming for a while, but I haven't had a remotely capable computer since the beginning-ish of this semester.

Before steam started supporting macs (what 2 years ago or so?), the options tended to be games ported over a couple of years late being sold at $50 while the PC versions cost about $20. The big exception being blizzard and maybe a few other companies.

I mostly just stuck to consoles with a few exceptions for that reason.

Once steam started supporting mac it was like a treasure trove of awesome titles at awesome prices as companies (and most of it is still indies) realized hey maybe people will actually buy this if we're reasonable about it. :D

Edit: Apple's general popularity going up around the same time as steam supporting macs likely helped with brand awareness as well.

Double Edit: And please no mac-pc debates now, those make me so sick ;)

Whatever works for people works, that's just it. No debates needed. Apparently mac works just fine for you, so I don't care to argue about it. If you cared a lot about PC gaming, or whatever PCs are 'better' for, then you'd have a PC. Simple as that.

Are you all right? That's not the kind of attitude one comes to expect on ze interwebz.

I kid, I kid! That's how I feel too, a lot of people seem to love proving their way to superior though ;)

Many people on the Internet can't seem to handle the fact that "you" don't agree/disagree on everything they do and therefore must correct you to be exactly like them. Which makes absolutely no sense to me but *shrug* I'm not them. As long as you got a Mac for any reason other than "I got it to be uber l33tz cool dudes!" then I'm perfectly fine with it.  Right tool, right job, that sort of thing.

Humble Indie Bundle 7 is out.

I had some amount of interest in dungeon defenders, binding of issac, and legend of grimrock so I bought it. Didn't even look at the other games since those three sold me.
Life is short. Have fun.
