An Important Addition to my Genesis Collection

I'm posting this here mainly for the benefit of Nalgas and X-4000 appreciating it, but I made a very nice addition to my Genesis collection today ;D

Star Control II was a masterpiece. I haven't played the first one though. I played SC3 as well, enjoyed it for what it was, but vastly inferior to 2.

Ah yes, that's right. It must have been a fevered dream, is all. You'd think as good as Star Control II was, they'd have made another game.

On an unrelated note, I always wondered why they never made a sequel to the movie "Highlander."

Heh.  With my "bad movie" group of friends (the ones who didn't just watch MST3K but would also watch those kinds of movies on our own independent of the show for entertainment value, just because they're so horrible), we've at least a couple times over the years done a Highlander marathon with all of the movies.  We intentionally included the worse version of Highlander 2...

Hey, despite it being laggy, the Genesis version had a few interesting points about it. The first being it was the first 12 megabit cartridge ever for the system, and the second being the somewhat shady means in which it was developed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_control#Development
