600 sites? That's some dedication. Best dad award material.

600 pages, not sites, heh.  But thanks. :)

Looks like I have to nix Mighty Quest for Epic Loot off the list.

The game is dead: the servers were taken down ~2 years ago.

Oof, yeah, not even on the storefront anymore.

Yep.
I went in to poke at it and muck around with the dungeon building UI1 and...
"Servers are down"
:(

1. I'm working on a similar style dungeon building thing and wanted to see what MQ4EL's ui looked like for all the widgets you can place. Because I've not seen a good widgetlist (look at Cities Skylines for example: just a giant scrolling list with no search or details or organization).

Sounds like a fun project!  Maybe there are LPs or at least screenshots where you can see what this looked like.

Yeah, its scrolling lists.

It's broken up by category ("traps" "monsters" etc) but they're accessed via a building (may have an on-screen shortcut, couldn't tell from this one video). I recall it being only "moderately user friendly" due to the fact that early on you have extremely limited variety.

Hmm...

This popped up in a GOG email and thought it fell into the kind of thing you're looking for, Chris.

https://www.gog.com/game/we_are_the_dwarves

It's also only $2.24 (right now? just on GOG? unclear), so at least worth checking out.
