The whole monster girl quest series is one of those guily pleasures you don't mention to anyone...
Unless they mention it first.

I think I have a bit of a critique in that the moving platforms and gates seem to have no visual indicator of why they move in one dimension and not the other. Other than that, the WTF is looked pretty awesome for an alpha. I do think that the platforms that appear and disappear, or move/reset based on the dimension need some kind of very clear visual indication that they do. Otherwise, you're just flipping dimensions until you learn the level.
Then again I've played a whole lot of precision platformers where you don't have the luxury of screwing around. Everything is clearly marked as good or bad, or is clearly marked for what it does. Any game where that's not the case, I begin to wonder why. You can only play so much N+, Super Meat Boy, and Spelunky before you begin to wish what those games do were a genre standard.

I think the "shimmer" is quite enough of an indication. Platforms are platforms, and you can step on them in one of the dreams. Having them transparent and "shimmer" is just enough for me, I think. TB didn't seem to notice though, but I definitely saw it.

I saw the transparent, it just seems that they're arbitrarily transparent in one world and not the other.
I mean... if each platform just had two different models or something that would even be enough for me. It just bugs me a little.

I don't think I follow. They're transparent and "shimmer" if they are in the other world (ie you can't step on them without Twisting), is this not what you are seeing?

I wished those platforms were distinguished by having a particular theme for the world they belong to. IE, light world being say made of wood, dark world being like... sinister evil gates or something. That kind of thing. Just them being translucent seems weird to me.

Perhaps he's also asking for an indicator when a platform will go away when you shift.

Yeah, more or less. A precise indicator of what the difference is between light world and dark world gates and platforms.
