I didn't like the sniper (Raelynn I think is her name) when I first tried her, but when I focused on her time rift ability rather than sniping, I absolutely loved her. The time rift ability is awesome, and the description of the damage doesn't do justice to just how much awesome the damage is.

Interesting; I normally loved snipers but didn't find her sniping very effective.  Will have to try time rift at some point.

I normally don't like snipers in general, I found taking snipe with just flashy glasses for solar gain, and then going into the rift with slow + damage is great. Clears lanes, nice as a defensive front, and if you can catch an enemy naut in it you can destroy them. The bots aren't very smart about handling it either, heh.

They just released a new character an underwater gangster voiced by totalbiscuit.

I haven't had the chance to play with him yet due to a certain other game's alpha testing though.

Edit: And they patched in gamepad support on mac. Very awesome! They didn't expect to get to it until later in january.
