Ok so i am 3D-Artist besides sprucing up effects and being a smart-ass about graphics ;P So i made new shiny scene, extremely shiny scene.

And the following link is to said scene on my DA account
Desert Asylum MK2 - Day
http://ere4s3r.deviantart.com/art/Desert-Asylum-MK2-Day-204643945

If you want to see it in Full 1920x1200 resolution press Download in the right corner, DA scales the image to your browser resolution otherwise.

Feedback would be welcome.

I am kinda proud of my rendering and am looking for feedback, not just on DA (which is always incredible slow to get any sensible feedback) but also here.

So yeah ;)

Wow! That's the best rendering I've seen from you yet, for sure. And your renderings are always good. :)

My one complaint is that, on my iPhone at least, the contrast in the center of the image is so dark that I can only really see about 70% of the image clearly. If that's by design, then cool, but if it's a difference in screens you may wish to adjust that a little brighter.

Checking it out on my actual computer: wow, that's even cooler!  I can see way more of the details now. :)

You made this....  :o

Looks very nice:)

Question: how much work goes into such nice piece of "virtual" art?

15 days of irregular work, putting it in "work hours" it'd be like 40 or 50. Rendertime was 2 hours, post editing 1 hour.

If you click on my DA profile ( http://ere4s3r.deviantart.com/ ) in my last journal you can find a link to the "scraps" where i posted all the Work-in-progress images. All 19 of them  (amongst others) ;)

As for the contrast/darkness in the center, tis true... sadly one has to find a balance and in this case, it was already too bright on my screens. Can't wait for OLED screens to become prevalent because that'd fix these issues ;)

Maybe it's because I'm on an LED screen vs an LCD, but it doesn't look too dark or too bright for me. Especially the night shot. Good light balance there.

Same thing here for on my actual monitor.  It was just the day shot on my iPhone 4 that was way too dark seeming.
