Induction coming up!
« on: August 31, 2010, 08:56:55 pm »
So, some of you had asked for a heads-up when it looks like my son will be being born.  Well, the due date was this past Friday, and so now we're hitting the point of induction.  My wife and I will be going in to the hospital at 7:30am EST tomorrow morning (the 1st) to start that process, and so hopefully that will result in a successful birth experience tomorrow.  As soon as I'm able, I'll post an announcement and picture. :)

You won't see anything at all of me other than that for the rest of this week, and there won't be a whole lot of me especially on the forums over the next three weeks in general (what little time I have will be spent on programming, payroll, etc, though I expect there will also be some news posts).  I should be back in the saddle fully around something like the 22nd or 23rd of September, but we'll see.  Whether or not any betas of the AI War 4.0 unity are posted before then is a big question mark at the moment, but Keith is going to be working away on that in my absence, so we'll see how that goes.  It's a big project, especially for one person working only part-time!

I don't know what to say at a time like this!  Well, forget about all of us because we're not part of your life, and you should give all your focus to the baby.  I don't think this community is going to suddenly construct a MKIII nuclear warhead, so don't worry at all about us--I'm sure Keith will assume your role of "super dev" for those 22 days.  :)

All my best, Chris!
