Well, that quote was a snide remark at their forums and how they communicated this, I forgot I am probably the only one who reads them ,p Their refund offer is no longer offered either ;)

Of course we agree on the solution. I mean.. this was a game I already had written off before release simply because Kalypso published it ,p

My post here is mainly for the others (unlike me) who bought it, and maybe hoped it gets fixed. Hope crushed, Kalypso a bit more notorious. (I highly doubt this Publisher will survive another 2 years..).

Overall, a good day for gaming. A bad day for those who supported this game despite our stern warnings NEVER to pre-order a 4x game. I mean by now this is getting ridiculous... It seems every 4x game mentioned in our OT is suck material. (Or in case of Endless Space, too simple for it's own good)... I hate being right all the time about these games you know..

Simply because I actually want to play a good one. God damnit! Stop sucking you 4x games!°

True, same here, BUT not because I'm sure I'd love, but for the fact that I support Arcen in whatever they do. Arcen have so far made two games that didn't last me long: Tidalis (not really a fan of puzzlers) and AVWW (fun for about 50-60 hours, but overall felt kind of unfishished).

Have I gotten my moneys worth out of both? Heck yes!

hohumm... I would want to read the design document first ;P At this point I am too scarred by all these 4x releases.

I'd love to, but I don't know when the time would be there :)  And there are some other projects that are higher on my personal priority list (more on the JRPG side of things) if I ever get that much hobby time.
