Interesting new Kickstarter - Astrobase Command

So, a friend of mine has a brother working on a game that just went up on Kickstarter, and he asked me to spread the word about it. It's certainly a very interesting concept for a game, I hope they are able to pull off their plan for the game.

Thank you for sharing. My impression (I only looked at the pics, have not read any of the words) is that this dated look style is now overused. In this particular screens I get a distinct feeling that the game could have looked better than it does. It's 2013 after all. Also the notepad/dossier style option panel I think is overused in recent games too. In the end, looking at the pictures did not get me excited, although I naturally love the space theme.

Good luck.  Not sure its what I'm looking for these days, but it seems like the idea is fairly sound (although I do agree about the graphics: retro artdeco is a little cliche at the moment)

Favor: Edit the topic title to include the game/software name. "Interesting kickstarter" is somewhat vague.
