LP Info: Been searching, could use some help here.

I just searched around a while and couldn't find one thing:

What is the official stance of Arcen Games when it comes to LPs?

I see the boards for it, but wasn't able to find anything about any stipulations about the making of a let's play.
Do I need to inform Arcen?
Is there something that I must include in every episode or the video description?
Am I permitted to make money from the LP?

Yes, I did sign up just to ask.
I searched, I didn't find and now I ask for help.
Links to references would be appreciated.

I don't know about officially, but I get the impression that Arcen enjoys the publicity and that's it. They should be by soon to answer the question themselves though. They are rather active on these forums. Surprisingly so for a developer.

The developer looks for LPs for the sake of publicizing their new games. I'm pretty sure they're fine with at very least you recording and putting up videos. Any monetization questions or anything like that would be on them. If all you intend to do is record and have fun, you could probably just go for it.

Yes. Expect an official answer here as they're pretty active on the forums, but I would say 99% odds are they say go for it.

Actually, it may be worthwile stickying this information somewhere. The larger Let's Players tend to request permission first, so just having this info in a prominent place on the forum would reduce any barriers such as Let's Players having to send emails or sign up to the forum as the OP has had to do. As also, did PaulSoaresJr, I believe.

A: You can do whatever you want with videos of you playing the game, with or without commentary, commercially or otherwise.

I'll record my first, non-tutorial, play with my friend and check to see if Chris has made a sticky post before uploading any videos.

He inquired about Arcen's last game Shattered Haven. I should have been a bit clearer on that. Never got around to doing one, though.
