Anyone know a good RSS/Feed/Atom Reader?

Lo, just wondering if anyone here knows a good Stand-Alone (not browser!) Feed Reader, particularly i want one that notifies me when certain keywords in a feed are matched - and that otherwise runs quietly in the background (more or less).

I am not really picky, but a perfect Notification system and Notification history that stays active until i checked it off would be the primary requirement.

I've looked, but I tend to have lots of RSS feeds, which tends to cause problems. Oddly, the best one I've used is the one integrated into IE8, though that has limitations of its own. Still, I might check out some of those links myself if i get a chance.
