Chris's Board Game topic made me thinking, and I don't want to litter in his own topic, which he created with a particular purpose.
There are 1-2 players board game called
Guardians of Graxia. There is also a
computer game by the same name. In addition there is a similarly themed card game, card game,
Heroes of Graxia.
I'm a little bit confused by these games, as for whatever reason I like them, while objectively I should not. Their rating sucks, they are not that original, a person who put together the rule book to Guardians should be reprimanded, as it's really hard to understand the rules from reading the rule book. Oh, and for a reason that I can't figure out they didn't implement multiplayer at all in the computer version of the game. Given that it's an implementation of a card / board game the decision to go without multiplayer looks highly bizarre.
Still I like moving the cards around the tiles and once you get the rules they are not difficult at all. In the card game keeping track of all the bonuses and summing up the attack and defence values is distinctly unfun, but there are creative people on BBG, who came up with a work around.
