DD 4 Combat simulator?

Hello,

did anyone ever come across a Dungeons and Dragons 4 combat simulator? Basically I want to be able to have an arena put some characters and monsters in it and be able to simulate a combat turn by turn with the program helping to enforce the rules.

Has something like this been made?

It's called "neverwinter nights", heh. You would have to mod for your particular ruleset. If you want something out-of-the-box, I don't know that it's been done yet. I don't know of any Dungeons & Dragons games coming out, but they usually come with an editor when that happens.

Yeah. thanks I know about NWN, but first of all it's DD 3 not even DD 3.5 and secondly it's too fancy, meaning that I want to be able to have the grid and all i.e. miniature-style based on "normal" DD 4 ruleset. For this purposes NWN does not work for me.

And any game would probably be not what I'm looking for anyway. I was thinking more along the lines of "tools" that programming inclined DMs create to help them develop/host play sessions.

Maybe someone should have said it before, but what you look for does not exist for DD 4.0, or at least my laughable skill at searching the web has netted me a lot of stuff, but nothing even remotely like what you want.

Yep, that's the main reason why I asked. It's just that I came across obscure tools like this before, that would not turn up in a search engine because 1 person wrote them and another 100 are using it and they are hosted on a non-indexed site or something so nobody else knows about them.... Sometimes you can find them by accident =)
