Happy new years from Germany, guys. Let's hope this year will be less of a disaster than the last one.

Happy new year! Completely agreed on that; let's just avoid nuclear war in world news, and have AI War 2 come out successfully, and we'll call it even? ;)

Those two things are equal...

Anyhow, jokes aside: happy new year!

Technology levels between civilizations are not regressive. Every time a civilization techs up, the world follows. The only thing that can make nukes obsolete and prevent eventual mutually assured annihilation is to find that next technology level. So what comes after nukes?

AI.

So there's hope for peace, yet.

Peace for AI, perhaps.  Might not be peace for us, heh.
