Arcen in IndieDB and GameHaunt GOTY stuff
« on: December 09, 2013, 01:33:16 pm »
We've been included in a couple of Game of the Year events going on right now. As you might expect with 2013 being such a release-heavy period for us, the vast majority of our titles are involved in one way or another. If you're interested in voting:

Indie DB Pages
- AI War (up because of new content in 2013)
- AVWW2
- Bionic Dues
- The Last Federation (I guess there's an in-development segment as well?)
- Shattered Haven
- Skyward Collapse

For GameHaunt, just head over to their Best of 2013 page. You'll find Shattered Haven up for Best Indie Adventure, as well as both Skyward Collapse and Bionic Dues competing for Best Indie Strategy.

I'm not sure how long GameHaunt's voting is open, but voting closes tomorrow for IndieDB's Top 100 selection (currently around 30 hours left). Anyway, figured I'd pass along the info for those interested.

Thanks for the info. I would've missed this otherwise. I put my votes in. I'm hoping for a BD explosion in popularity. I was quite disappointed that it was not Arcen's most successful title since AIwar. It seemed to have all the correct ingredients.

To be honest, I haven't even looked at it yet.  Keep meaning to look at Skyward collapse, too.

Skyward Collapse is more innovative. I just thought it was a bit too quirky to be a big hit. BD is more solid a title all-around, and in fashion (or so I thought) being a roguelike so I considered that it would prove more popular than it seems to have been. C'est la vie.

Was just indicating why I hadn't been picking up my share of the slack. ;)
