Keep a tight grip around that wallet. Money tends to leak out of it in times like these.

Some pretty decent stuff thus far. Nothing is really screaming my name today though. Also, surprised they arent doing some sort of gift system like they did the past three major sales.

There's really no games out there that I REALLY want atm, so I think I'm not going to buy anything. Unless something just pops out and, as you put it, screams my name.

Like I told Chris and Keith earlier, I'm waiting to see if there is a bigger sale on the Civ 5 expansion pack later on. If there is, it's an insta-buy for me.

Ah yes, Civ. The devourer of time.

If certain leaked info is correct, we should have a bundle with AVWW coming up.

There's nothing specific that I can think of wanting, but I'm sure something will pop up on discount that I'll suddenly discover I need to have.

*Looks at top played game on Steam* Pff, if anything is a devourer of time, it is still AIW.

Well, as far as Steam time goes, AIW, ME2 and Tribes:Ascend are my top contenders. AIW just a tish over 200h, ME2 at 199h and Tribes at 220h.

As much as I love AI War, it's not the series I skipped days of High School to play. :)

It's really really odd, because Civ is a game I know I should positively love and adore with the very fibre of my being, but I just cannot make myself like it. Space Empires and Masters of Orion swallowed me whole, but I've played every Civ since the original Civ (even CivNet and Colonization), except for Civ V, and it just doesn't stick.

I picked up Lone Survivor and Terraria, so far.  The former really gives lots of Silent Hill vibes that I want to check out.  The latter is something I had studiously avoided while working on AVWW.  But now that AVWW is so far into post-release I figure it will be interesting to look at rather than something that overly influences me by playing it, etc.

Terraria is a fun time, especially since I got to play it with a bunch of friends. It's still in my review queue to do. I consider myself "done" with it, and not due to the lack of updates, just finished the content and have no compelling reason to keep playing it.

Terraria was a devious time devourer for a while. I've sunk about 100 hours into it, but I feel positively "done" with it. I'm not one of those guys that can just sit down and build something "just because". I must have a purpose.

I am a builder type, but I want more flexibility than Terraria providers. Minecraft comes close, but I had issues with the first person perspective and the graphic style isn't my thing. So one day I hope someone comes out with the game...until then, *shrugs*.

Don't get me wrong, I like building aestethically pleasing things. It's just that I can't really sit down and do one of those mega projects people sink hundreds of hours into. Mostly because it doesn't really give me anything.
