They do actually, if they want to sell to consoles and get the most amount of eyes on their games. People still go to retail to buy videogames for a variety of reasons. One practical reason is that their Internet sucks and downloading a game takes a century. one day though...hopefully they drop retailers

The US Internet infrastructure is a mess, no thanks to how big this country is and how much rural area there is.

The US Internet infrastructure is a mess, no thanks to how big this country is and how much rural area there is.Well, that and the fact that it's old. Having the internet first was nice when it was new, but now it's causing problems.
Theres also the thing where no one seems particularly interested afaik in actually upgrading the cables besides Verizon and Google, and Google is getting complained at for doing so.
