As I'm certain no one knows (self confidence issues ftw), I review videogames in far too long a format, far too late after they've released. But I thoroughly enjoy the process and I think my reviews are the better for it rather than trying to compete with day-one rushed reviews. Anyway, I've been busy this past month and released several new reviews since my look at SMITE: (with tl;drs)

DOOM (2016): http://kingisaaclinksr.com/2016/08/10/a-paladins-steam-review-doom-hell-bfg-yes/
I like it, story isn't that great but there's plenty of it there. Shooting is very satisfying and great but it gets a bit repetitive towards the end.

Serious Sam 3 BFE: http://kingisaaclinksr.com/2016/08/17/a-paladins-steam-review-serious-sam-3-bfg-seriously-serious-savagery-from-sams-shotgun-shells/
Five years after it's released and I still enjoy the crap out of it.

Shadow Warrior (2013): http://kingisaaclinksr.com/2016/08/24/a-paladins-steam-review-shadow-warrior-youve-got-the-katana-youve-got-the-power/
Strong story with some very interesting characters among the blood bath that is this FPS. Gun play is a bit on the weak side (imo) but the Katana more than makes up for any weaknesses.

Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Old Blood: http://kingisaaclinksr.com/2016/08/31/a-paladins-steam-review-wolfenstein-the-new-order-the-old-blood-blasting-baskets-of-bullets-at-nazis/
Strong storytelling and good FPS action makes for some solid games. Like the New Order more than the Old Blood but mostly because I'm tired of zombies. Even if they are of the Nazi variety.

Hard Reset Redux: http://kingisaaclinksr.com/2016/09/07/a-paladins-steam-review-hard-reset-redux-cyber-spacing-the-robots/
Very interesting take on cyberpunk FPS action. The redux edition helps make it a very competent experience. Combat starts getting old though.

Starward Rogue: http://kingisaaclinksr.com/2016/09/21/a-paladins-steam-review-starward-rogue-shooting-into-the-sun/
Arcen's blend of bullet hell and rogue-lite elements really sells this game for me. Story could have been better and it's challenging as hell but I still enjoyed my time with it.

Enjoy that novel's worth of reading. :P. I'm trying to share my reviews out there more since I'm...not so great at marketing/putting myself out there.

Yea, I'll be returning to Indies after this FPS fest. It just so happened that I've been sitting on these reviews for years so wanted to do them in one go.

Glad you enjoyed one of them!
